A Restorative Yoga Class is a great complement to your regular yoga practice, or if you just need time for relaxing and restoring your energy.
Restorative is all about being in poses passively, letting gravity and breath do their magic to restore your overused body. It is the one class where we get to just lie around and let it happen.
What is Different about Restorative Yoga?
Using blankets, bolsters, pillows, blocks, straps and other “props” to support the body,
practitioners generally experience profound shifts in their nervous system, thus allowing a
physiological shift to deep restfulness, calm abiding and well-being. Gravity does “the work”
as the body progressively relaxes and softens.
